Out with the New, in with the Old... This Old Thing? is a fashion house created by Roy Caires and Tommy Cole. Caires, a formally trained fashion designer, and Cole, an experienced fashion photographer and thrift shop fanatic, decided to join forces to create something that would breathe new life into a fashion community saturated with silk screened t-shirts and pop star trends. Beginning in the summer of 2004, This Old Thing? has been carefully taking apart and "reconstructing" clothing they find at undisclosed locations in and around Brooklyn, NY. The garments they create are ironic, witty, and technical in design. ALTER is a clothing boutique created by Tommy & Roy of This Old Thing?. ALTER will feature clothing and accessories by This Old Thing? along with Cheap Monday Denim, jewelry by Fetty of Brooklyn, a stunning selection of vintage clothing... and many more brands to come as we grow.
